The band came together in 1996 when several of the regular members of the band lived in the village of Greysouthen near Cockermouth. Some had played ceildh music for a number of years and others were just interested, but were classically orientated. Gradually a format evolved in which each brought their own interest and experience. All of us were regular dancers and enjoyed the music, so it was a fairly easy process.
