STUART WILTSHIRE - Caller & Rhythm Guitar (and other instruments)

Stuart has been playing folk music since his teens. He was resident singer at the Wayzgoose
Club in Stockwell, London for two years. He has played in a number of bands, including
Saltscar and Tarbolton on Teesside, and has started calling since moving into Cumbria in
1990. He plays rhythm guitar and sings in Village Green and accordion for Belfagan Women's
Morris in Cockermouth

BRIDGET HILTON - accordion

A sometime junior accordion champion, Bridget has taken more recently to folk music and
joined the band in 2006. She now enjoys playing
for Belfagan Women's
Morris and as a member of Piping Hot Recorders. Don't be surprised if she gets her recorder out.

HELEN SMITH - recorder, flute & penny whistle

|
Helen played in a folk band in the
Swansea area. She teaches in a local primary school, offering music to a new generation of
enthusiasts. She enjoys dancing and is full of energy.

SARAH KEKUS - Violin
|
|
Sarah has a deep interest in folk music and has inspired many young
musicians through her work at Wyndham Music Centre. She now works for the Sage,
Gateshead, from where she reaches a wider audience.

|
Our blend of strings, reeds and woodwind is common to many bands and provides
balance and harmony.
Occasionally, if one of our regular musicians is unavailable, one of our select group of very
competent musicians is substituted.
